Hajar grew up in Southern Morocco, surrounded by craftsmanship, materials and the hands of people who make things slowly and with care.

Years later, after moving to Geneva, she began designing bags that bring together two parts of her life: a contemporary way of living and the craftsmanship she grew up around.

The bags are designed in Geneva and handmade by artisans in Marrakech.

Their shapes are inspired by the architecture of Southern Morocco, its earth tones, geometric details and quiet simplicity.

Hajar Hajji is an invitation to slow down, find calm and live at your own rythm.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Morocco has been renowned for its leather craftsmanship for centuries. In fact, the word maroquinerie comes from Maroquin, a fine leather once exported from Morocco and prized throughout Europe.

This heritage lives on through the hands of our artisans. Every Hajar Hajji piece is carefully handcrafted using traditional techniques, where every cut, stitch and finish follows a slower rhythm of making.

We believe true craftsmanship cannot be rushed. It takes time, patience and skilled hands to create objects designed to last.
